There is a tendency to hype up languages which we like and have developed code for them, especially if we helped implement key features (&lt;a href="http://research.microsoft.com/%7Eemeijer/Papers/PlanXDemo.pdf" rel="nofollow"&gt;http://research.microsoft.com/~emeijer/Papers/P...&lt;/a&gt;). I guess this sort of behavior comes from a feeling of belonging as one would have with our children.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;BTW, I couldn't agree more with the IsNot patent!
